I was using a Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk as a boost, but found that it modified the EQ too much for my liking. W&C are very open about this, and I like the pedal in certain contexts, but it wasn't really working currently. Web4 Oct 2013 · The clone that I'm building is made of parts (pots, knobs, etc) bought online, and I bought a prewired PCB from a guy in Hong Kong who sells "exact copies" on ebay. The PCB cost me $100, and if it comes anywhere close to the real thing then I'll consider it a good purchase. I haven't put the clone together yet so I can say for sure.
