WebA masters rower is defined by the rower’s age at the beginning of the year in which he or she turns 27. Masters rowers categories A to K, are determined by the age of the rower at the year of the event. The masters rower competes against other rowers in the same age category. The average and minimum age of a crew excludes the coxswain. WebThese internationally recognised classes for rowing are: PR3-PI (Physical Impairment) PR3-VI (Visual Impairment) PR2. PR1. Rowers who have a disability but do not meet the Para-Rowing eligibility criteria may be eligible for an Adaptive Rowing Classification. These classes are accepted at events that offer Adaptive Rowing Competition.
