WebbI am about the same as you, except i have a Ryzen in my system. 8-9 streams a day, 50% transcoding. Was doing fine without a GPU, but i ended up having a spare 1060, so i put it in. My observations: (i added the patched drivers) no real difference to the streams, stream quality was the same. HW transcoding with GPU was/is definitely working.
