WebI was diagnosed on August 4th. I lost both smell and taste on day 3. After a week, I could taste salty and sweet things. My taste slowly came back. It took several weeks. My smell has yet to fully come back. Scents have to be really strong or I have to hold things close to my nose to smell them. I’m hoping it eventually comes back.
