WebAug 5, 2010 · I can't imagine that any non-MSFS applications would cause such a problem, but I'm all ears. I'd appreciate it if someone could test out their FSX-Acceleration install by loading up the default Cessna C172, flying north, then flipping on time compression up to 8x or 16x and watching their directional gyro as you enter a turn. WebDec 4, 2015 · Don't turn on the ground with full throttle, use the minimum amount of throttle required to get the aircraft moving, and if you want a tighter turn, also apply the breaks while turning using the rudder.

I think it's more to do with the fact that the simulator isn't actually running faster, it's just omitting chunks of "real" time. For argument's sake, let's assume the sim state is evaluated and adjusted ten time per second at normal speed.

My theory is that FSX is actually using the engine state (running / not running) of the aircraft in use at the time FSX was last shut down (exited) instead of what is in saved flights. I really haven't figured it out.
