WebDead Cells is a rouguelite action platformer while Blasphemous is a metroidvania action platformer. Which experience would you prefer? I haven't played Dead Cells but a lot of people seem to like it. I can tell you that Blasphemous is great but also pretty hard. WebBlasphemous leans more on the metroidvania side of having a connected map, that actually coats and separates the areas on the map in different colors which I think is really cool. Webdeaths gambit has better boss design, music, and is more of a metroidvania. Thats not to say blasphemous has bad music, and while the bosses themselves are meh mechanically, artistically the game has 0 rivals in the pixel art realm.
