WebNov 13, 2024 · Take off the rad cap, run it until the thermostat opens. If the coolant level drops in the radiator, there was air inside, and you can now add/top off with coolant. Also turn on the heater inside the vehicle with the fan on low but just so you have coolant circulating through the heater core as well when burping it.
